Group Reformer Pilates

Group classes on the reformer and Pilates chair — in mini groups of up to 4 people or larger groups of up to 8. Combining both machines engages different muscle groups, and the instructor adjusts the load for each of you, whether you're a beginner or advanced.

Inside the club

Polestar method

Polestar Pilates — a method grounded in science

At Telo Pilates Club we teach the Polestar Pilates method — an international school founded by physical therapist Dr. Brent Anderson. Polestar Pilates combines Joseph Pilates' original principles with modern biomechanics and rehabilitation, so our Reformer Pilates is safe if you have back pain and challenging if you want serious training.

6 principles of Polestar Pilates

  1. 01

    Breathing

Correct breathing stabilises the body, calms the nervous system and drives every movement.

  2. 02

    Axial elongation & core control

A lengthened body and an active core — strength that comes from within, not from tension.

  3. 03

    Spinal articulation

Mobility vertebra by vertebra, so the spine moves freely and as a whole — the basis of Pilates for a healthy back.

  4. 04

    Head, neck & shoulder organisation

Relaxed shoulders and a well-placed head take the load off the neck and upper back.

  5. 05

Alignment & weight-bearing of the extremities

Hips, knees and feet in line — joints work without unnecessary strain.

  6. 06

    Movement integration

Everything comes together into one harmonious movement — on the reformer, on the mat and in everyday life.

At Telo Pilates Club we don't just train muscles. We nurture a mindful approach to movement — so you understand your body, feel it and move without pain.

That's why our Reformer Pilates classes in Podgorica are precisely guided: small groups, certified Polestar instructors and a program adapted to your body. The goal isn't perfect form in a single class, but a healthy, strong and mobile body that carries you every day.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Message us on Instagram
I've never done Pilates. Can I come?

Of course. Groups are open to beginners — the instructor adapts the load and exercise variations to each person. If you'd like to learn the basics with full attention, we recommend starting with a private or semi-private session.

What are the studio rules?

Please follow basic hygiene rules: come in clean socks and comfortable training clothes. This makes the class pleasant for you and for everyone else in the group.

Can I train if I have back pain or I'm pregnant?

Yes — Pilates can help with back and joint pain. If you've had surgery or have a diagnosed condition, you need your doctor's approval. During pregnancy we offer private sessions only — with your doctor's approval and on specialised equipment, so every session is completely safe.

Where is the studio?

Telo Pilates Club is on Bulevar revolucije, in the Vektra building, opposite the RTCG building in Podgorica. There is public parking nearby, as well as paid parking (€1.5 per hour).

What language are classes taught in?

Groups are taught in Montenegrin, Russian and English. The language of each class is marked in the schedule.

How much does Pilates cost at your studio?

A single group reformer class is €17. An 8-class membership is €120 and a 12-class one is €180 (€15 per class), both valid for 5 weeks. A private session is €35, a semi-private session for two is €50 (€25 per person), and a mat class is €13.

How do I cancel a class?

You can cancel a class up to 12 hours before it starts. Otherwise the class counts as used and is deducted from your membership.

What is a reformer and how is it different from mat Pilates?

A reformer is a machine with a sliding carriage and springs. The springs add resistance or support, so the same exercise can be gentle or very demanding. On the mat you work with your own body weight and small props. Both strengthen the deep muscles — the reformer gives more options for precise loading.
